On November 11th 2007, we remember those who fought in the war. My Granddad fought in World War II. I always remember him at this time. However my teacher raised an interesting point: what would have happened if 'we' had lost? A scary thought! Everything I have done to date may never have happened if 'we' had lost. I wouldn't have done Art that is for sure, hell I may not have even met Katie on Myspace...
When the war first started it ploughed through country after country. One day one country just said: " No! Not here!" The UK among other countries (like USA) just said No. A Mouse infront of a Lion who wouldn't surrender.
I guess, from time to time I, like so many others take stuff for granted. But the one thing I always remember is how many lives were lost for a course worth fighting for: Freedom.
People like my Granddad fought for this right.
So The One Thing I Remember On November 11th Is: The People And Their Countries Who Fought In The War..
