On November 11th 2007, we remember those who fought in the war. My Granddad fought in World War II. I always remember him at this time. However my teacher raised an interesting point: what would have happened if 'we' had lost? A scary thought! Everything I have done to date may never have happened if 'we' had lost. I wouldn't have done Art that is for sure, hell I may not have even met Katie on Myspace...
When the war first started it ploughed through country after country. One day one country just said: " No! Not here!" The UK among other countries (like USA) just said No. A Mouse infront of a Lion who wouldn't surrender.
I guess, from time to time I, like so many others take stuff for granted. But the one thing I always remember is how many lives were lost for a course worth fighting for: Freedom.
People like my Granddad fought for this right.
So The One Thing I Remember On November 11th Is: The People And Their Countries Who Fought In The War..

Lost In My Thoughts
This post was inspired by the TV show LOST. I recently brought season 3 of LOST. While watching it I thought wouldn't it be nice from time to time to be lost and not have anything to worry about. But then, I would miss everyone I knew. So maybe people don't need to get Lost on Island but maybe somewhere close to them. It could be in a book their reading, at a party, down the pub, even in their sleep. Or in a simple conversation on the phone..
But for me, i'm going to lose myself on here. Putting down random and important thoughts that make up and matter in my life. And believe me, its going to be a very random journey..
